APC Image: AK 0922Two deep bowls, Late Mycenaean (LH III). They have two handles extending diagonally from the body of the vase. The interior is often painted, but in some cases there is only a painted band at the rim both within and without. The handles are, as a rule, partly painted, and one or more bands often surround the vase on the outside. The shape, which was one of the most common in the LH III period, continued to be used into the early Iron Age.
