APC Image: AK 0984Top left: Fragment of red-figured calyx krater. A, Apollo Citharoedus; B, Athena mounting quadriga (Acropolis II 742). Fragment from the rim. Part of the upper border of lotus and palmette. Before 480 B.C. Assigned to Berlin Painter by Beazley. Center: Fragment of plaque. Apollo Citharoedus. Artemis stringing her bow. Hermes (Acropolis II 1042a-e). Part of left edge of the plaque, with raised rim now broken away. The fragment shows the net design at the left side of the panel and a small part of the dark bordered drapery of the figure nearest the edge. Ca .500 B.C. Right: Fragment of plaque. The Judgment of Paris (Acropolis II 1047a-d). The right arm of Eros and the shoulder of Aphrodite are preserved, so that the new fragment must go in the upper right corner of the plaque, under the wings. Ca. 500 B.C. Pease sees the style as that pointing to Phintias.
