Hermes (Acropolis II 1042a-e). Part of left edge of the plaque, with raised rim now broken away. The fragment shows the net design at the left side of the panel and a small part of the dark bordered drapery of the figure nearest the edge. Ca .500 B.C. Right: Fragment of plaque. The Judgment of Paris (Acropolis II 1047a-d). The right arm of Eros and the shoulder of Aphrodite are preserved, so that the new fragment must go in the upper right corner of the plaque, under the wings. Ca. 500 B.C. Pease sees the style as that pointing to Phintias.
