APC Image: AK 1128: Pottery from Well M. Top, left: Large spherical pitcher of coarse, highly micaceous clay of a bright red color. The pitcher lacks a base. It is handmade. It was found in a practically undamaged condition. Right: Pitcher of coarse handmade ware, and brick red clay. A small piece of the lip is missing, but the rest of the vase is intact. Bottom, left: Amphora. The clay is soft and mealy. The lip and whole inside is glazed, and there are traces of glaze on the handles, but apart from these the outside is undecorated. Right: Pitcher. The outside is covered with a light brown glaze, but the neck and mouth, a narrow band round the body, and the base are painted dark brown.
